TSH331 updates and replaces TSH330 and provides reliable temperature and humidity monitoring for industrial and infrastructure applications that require protection against dust and water sprays. As an IP54 temperature and humidity sensor, it communicates via RS-485 using the widely adopted Modbus RTU protocol, enabling straightforward integration into industrial automation environments.
A precision capacitive element measures relative humidity, while a bandgap sensor measures temperature. Internal electronics digitize both signals using a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, ensuring stable, repeatable readings and consistent long-term measurement performance across demanding operating conditions.
This IP54 temperature and humidity sensor supports multi-drop RS-485 installations, allowing multiple devices to operate on a single bus with individually assigned Modbus addresses. The architecture simplifies system expansion and makes the sensor suitable for distributed monitoring within industrial ecosystems, including PLC-based and SCADA-controlled installations.
The rugged enclosure protects the sensor against dust ingress and water sprays, while the cable gland with locknut and screwless terminal block simplify wiring and speed up installation. TSH331 integrates seamlessly with Teracom controllers as well as third-party automation platforms, enabling flexible deployment in mixed-vendor systems.
