Alta Labs AP6W WiFi 6, Wall Mount Enterprise Access Point
The AP6W access point from Alta Labs features a compact wall-mounted design, ensuring seamless integration into any commercial or residential environment. It can be powered either via Ethernet or locally through a DC jack.
The developers have done an excellent job with features such as reliable roaming using the 802.11r/k/v standards, multi-password authentication under the same SSID to separate networks based on passwords, and content filtering through a built-in DPI engine that requires no additional hardware and does not reduce access point throughput.
Multi-Password Authentication
An innovative approach to network separation by using different Wi-Fi passwords instead of creating multiple SSIDs, which increases overall network throughput. Each password can be linked to specific speed limits, VLAN settings, Wi-Fi off-schedule, or hotspot functionality.
Deep Packet Inspection Engine
Block content by application, select from an extensive predefined list including domain-based filtering — all without reducing throughput or requiring additional hardware.
