1.7. Important Information
1.7.a. The images of products shown in this website might be different from the actual ones. In addition, XPATIT S.A. reserves the right to change or amend the applicable terms and conditions on the use of this website at any given time. Such changes shall be immediately effective as of their publishing. 1.7.c. The listed product prices on our website apply to the existing stock of the company at the time the online order is placed.

1.8 Return Policy - Warranty
• Products that have been purchased by our company and are not faulty, cannot be returned.
• Note that in case of a faulty product, the warranty is directly covered by XPATIT and applies within our company. This means that the shipment of any faulty product to and from our company shall be solely at the customer’s expense.
• Defective products must be accompanied by the RMA form which you can submit online on our website as well as the relevant document (consignment note), if purchased with an invoice. Otherwise, the return will not be accepted. In addition, they should be returned, if possible, in their original packaging and with all the necessary peripherals, power supply, cables, and everything else required for the proper technical control of the product. If the collection process of the aforementioned takes more than 10 days without completion due to the customer’s fault, the package will be returned to the customer at their own freight charge without being checked.
• The online RMA form must be filled in with all the necessary information and the technical problem – type of device failure- must be stated on it clearly and with a detailed description. Our company’s RMA department will check the devices only for the declared (on the RMA form) technical problem.
• The duration of the technical inspection of the products by our technical department typically lasts from 24 to 72 hours depending on the workload of the technical department and also on the type of damage to be checked, reported by the customer, since depending on the type of malfunction, the above indicative period of time may not be sufficient to diagnose the problem.
• Damaged products (cracked etc.) may not be returned even if they are faulty, because, due to physical damages - misuse by the customer, their warranty becomes void. The customer is solely responsible for any physical damage caused to the product during shipment to our company due to incomplete or inadequate packaging.
• In the event that a product has been returned as defective but found to be working properly after the technical control it will be subjected to, the customer is required to pay the value of the technical control which is 15€ including VAT per device and case. The warranty concerns the Hardware of a device and not the Software, as specified by the respective manufacturer.
• In the event that upon completion of the RMA process the customer refuses to cooperate with our Service Department or has been refusing to receive the product (s) sent for technical inspection for more than 15 days from the date of completion, then our company shall issue a credit invoice for the product whose price will consequently be reduced (compared to the original purchase price) at an amount commensurate with the damages and the “age” of the product as well as its general condition. A service invoice shall then be issued for the technical inspection. Finally, if after the above, there is a financial difference, i.e. the amount remaining to be returned to the customer, if the customer does not declare a bank account for the credit of this amount, the balance will remain on his card until he claims it.
• All goods available for sale in Xpatit’s online store are covered by warranty for a time period determined by the manufacturer, and the terms of that warranty are also determined by the manufacturer. The warranty is effective as of the date our company issues all lawful invoices to the customers; invoices shall always include the serial numbers of products.
• Buyers may be informed of warranty periods either from the warranty table at the page of each particular product, or by calling our company and providing the product brand and model.

1.10.b. Any order with bank transfer as selected payment option must be executed from Monday to Friday by 15:15 at the most. Furthermore, after the transfer has been successfully made, the customer must notify us of that transfer either by phone, email or fax. When depositing the amount, customers must write the number (or numbers, in case of multiple orders) of the order placed online.
1.10.c. Given that XPATIT S.A. Company does not hold products for unpaid online orders where bank transfer has been selected as the payment option, the company reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order if the company receives no notice from the customer on payment execution within 24 hours after the order has been placed.
1.10.d. Any order paid by credit card shall be executed and shipped after the cardholder’s details have been identified as being the same as those of the person (natural or legal) that has placed the order. This verification is made by Eurobank’s fraudulent transaction department, to ensure the safety and privacy of the customer’s personal information. This verification may take up to 48 hours. If you have a 3D Secure code and your transaction is identified as Fully Authenticated, the above procedure is skipped.
1.10.e. Interbank transaction costs (transfer to any of our accounts from a third bank) shall be fully borne by the customer. The order shall be executed on the day the amount appears in one of our bank accounts. In case a customer charges our company with transaction fees, he/she shall automatically accept that those fees will be carried over to him/her plus 24% VAT, through a lawful invoice.
1.10.f. Attention! In line with the applicable Greek law (Law 4172 /2013 article 23) any orders executed by invoices worth €500 or more, must be paid either by bank transfer in any of our bank accounts or by credit/debit card.
1.10.g. VAT rates for goods and services are determined by the provisions of article 21 and annex III of the Greek VAT Code (Law 2859/2000), as cited below. In summary, to help our members us better understand, we point out the following:
1. For the islands of Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Leros and Samos, the VAT rate falls by 30%, which means that the standard 24% VAT rate falls to 17% for goods which:
i. are located on those islands and are delivered by a subject located on those islands;
ii. are shipped for sale to those islands by a person liable to VAT, located at any part of Greece, to a buyer liable to VAT or a legal person non-liable to VAT, located on those islands;
iii. are sent or shipped to a person liable to VAT or a legal person non-liable to VAT, located on those islands, as part of an intra-Community acquisition of goods;
iv. are imported to those islands, at the moment VAT becomes chargeable.
Therefore, private individuals (persons non-liable to VAT) persons non-liable to VAT.
2. In case we invoice remotely provided services, we inform consumers that the standard 24% VAT rate applies regardless of the area, in accordance with the provisions of the VAT Code (Law 2859/2000) since the services are provided remotely by our company. This category includes shipping costs, which are probably invoiced on sales notes.

1.11. Product Shipment
Each order is executed upon phone confirmation (where this is considered appropriate for the purpose of protecting the client's interests or in the event of an error in the placement of the order) and given the product availability at the moment specified in paragraph 1.10.a. From the moment a courier partner receives a package, Xpatit bears no responsibility for any delays that may occur until the package is delivered to the final recipient (strikes, force majeure, etc.). The shipment number written on the relevant consignment note is notified to the customer (by SMS or email) a few hours after the package has been received by a courier employee, demonstrating our timely execution of the order. For the above reasons, Xpatit is only responsible for the timely shipment of packages, not for the final time of delivery by the courier company.
Finally, when the goods have left our premises, the customer is solely responsible for their transportation. This means that the customer must never accept a package bearing visible damage due to transportation by the courier company.

1.12. Right of Withdrawal
(1) If the customer is a natural person (consumer) making a purchase for personal use rather than for business, the customer has the right to withdraw from that transaction within 14 calendar days, by returning the product in its original packaging at his/her own expenses, in accordance with article 4, par. 10 of Law 2251/1994.
