RECYCLING OF APPLIANCES

Staying true to our philosophy and given our steadfast compliance with the laws and our environmental consciousness, our company has been listed in the Ministry of Environment and Energy Register of EEE Producers since 31/08/2013, with Reg. No: 01424. Following recent developments and the new announcement and requirements by the Ministry of Energy, our company is now also listed in the new National Register of Producers with new Reg. No: 753.

In particular, based on the following, as quoted from the website www.electrocycle.gr of Appliance Recycling S.A.:

In accordance with provisions of article 6, par. 2.1.2 of Joint Ministerial Decision Η.Π. 23615/651/Ε.103, distributors may:
a. only distribute EEE that is part of an approved alternative management scheme;
b. procure EEE only from producers listed in the Register.

In accordance with Joint Ministerial Decision Η.Π. 23615/651/Ε.103, the Ministry of Energy is preparing a Register of EEE Producers. All eligible producers must be listed in the National Register of Producers. Following successful registration, each company is issued a registration certificate and a unique Producer Registration Number.

This way,
1. We ensure our customers’ best interests, by providing them with products for which XPATIT has paid a recycling fee, without running any risk of being taken by surprise in case of audit by the relevant authorities.
2. We pay 100% of the recycling fee for all products we import and trade, without raising the prices of our products, nor passing the recycling fee on to our resellers, thus keeping our prices consistently low and highly dynamic compared to our competition.
3. On our part, we help, as we ought to, in the necessary recycling process, hoping to improve the environmental conditions across the globe.
