What is TwistPortTM Adaptor
TwistPort Adaptor adapts 3rd party radios to RF elements® proprietary TwistPortTM waveguide connector. Integration of the radio is smooth and requires no tools. Making 3rd party radios compatible with TwistPortTM allows for using the radio with any TwistPortTM antenna ever made and enable superior performance, noise immunity and network scalability.
There is a completely new shielded TwistaPort adapter TPA-RBC designed for the MikroTik RouterBOARD platform. It is used to connect the RB91x, RB71x, RB4xx and RBM11 routers to the TwistPort antennas. The connection between the RouterBOARD and the TwistPort adapter is solved using two MMCX pigtails.
Aluminium Enclosure
TPA-RBC is made of cast aluminium and provides excellent protection that is required in outdoor environment.
More Real Estate
TPA-RBC offers more real estate inside the enclosure. It can be used for any additional equipment when building your own radio platform e.g. for radio cards with taller heath sinks.
More Flexibility
TPA-RBC offers space for additional external connectors of choice. Aluminium wall allows for custom drilling or milling to fulfill various requirements.
